FINALLY! The first model sheet I've finished since 2013!! Now, I realized I was was doing it wrong by shading these model sheets.I may do a shaded version later but really, you don't want any shading on an actual model sheet for animation. The point to a model sheet for animation is to give your animators an idea of how your character is built and what they look like at different angles, and with different expressions and poses and it's for color reference. You can't sample colors if shading is involved. Shading kind of muddies it up a bit. As an animator, I should have realized this long ago but I was so intent on making these things with full shading. Finally, I came to my senses and decided not to wait one more second to release these. It was a LOT easier on me not to shade them as well! Anyway, here is the official guide to Zipper, the snarky, sarcastic, stuffed red panda's design! I am so happy with this and if you'd like, you may use this as a reference to draw Zipper! Just please credit me for the character.What do you think?
