This performance, and its remnant sculpture, is my reaction to the way I felt in the moment my mother told me she was going to file for divorce. I used the chair because it became the symbol, or focus of my vision during the experience.  The wicker seat in the chair at home, which this sculpture alludes to, was prone to breaking. The chair's fragility paralleled how the household around it snapped after wear and tear; causing the eggs it was protecting to break under the amplifying force of the plaster orbs.

First project of my Sophomore Fall Semester in the Sculpture Department, 2015.
