'Working with children is very challenging and challenges the subject matter'
The project at Turnford School was based on the theme 'Stereotypes' consisting of research task into art, a mixture of contemporary and traditional including master like Van Gogh. The result that emerged this is that students went for artists that they knew and recognized. Their was another task  this was to research the meanings of the stereotypes  and what they meant. Then the creativity could begin , using pencils I asked the students to represent a stereotype,  demonstrating the prejudged nature of society. Even the teacher's assistant acknowledge that stereotypes does exist. The finial task was to draw a picture that shown different people getting along. The project was good as a means to break barriers and combat bullying.
