Calla Lily was created because an old friend’s mother passed away and I wanted to paint something for him. I was uncertain of the flower choice because I associate them with weddings, but he is a florist and my Google research showed that they are for funerals and fertility, as well.

The original piece is a watercolor pencil on watercolor paper (6″ x 18″).
