Design Kit: Human-centered Design, by IDEO

The following is the result of a course in Human-Centered Design carried out by Ideo and Acumen. The goal was to design a solution for a given Challenge and follow the HCD process to complete it through different assignments. The Challenge chosen was "How might we give our community members the knowledge to make healty food choices?"
The final idea selected was an App for smartphones or tablets that could guide you on how to eat healthy, proposing different weekly/monthly challenges that could motivate you, for example to eat 3 pieces of fruit a day, to avoid prepared food, etc. Also, the app completes your shopping list and plans recipes according on what you have bought and to your priorities, allergies, likes or dislikes...
The App was called Help eat, and the mock-up was created with Justinmind programme, to test how it will work and get feedback from users.
There is a search button to find ecologic shops nearby to make it easier to find healthy food and avoid big supermarkets with prepared or industrial food.
Finally, there is an award in case many challenges are completed and if you gather tickets from an Ecologic shop. You will accumulate points to get discounts in these same shops to help buy bio food, which is normally more expensive.
