RuouDanToc is a comany specializing in processing and selling Vietnam's traditional wines, especially the wine from ethnic groups in the North West of Vietnam. Each product has its own specific flavor which can meet a high standard.  However, the brand image and the packages of the company do not meet the standard of the high level wine, and that fact lowers the qualities of the products.
The target of this rebranding project is to upgrade the level of Vietnam's wine in general and RuouDanToc's products in particular. The concept is: "The quintessence of Vietnam". The new brand image will have specific characteristics of Vietnam, especially the North West areas. 
The logotype was inspired by 3 different elements: the blade of the Vietnamese ethnic people, the traditional jar of wine, and the lotus - the Vietnamese national flower.
 
The main color scheme contains dark grey (which nearly looks like black)  and golden yellow. The combination of colors create a contrast which makes the brand outstanding as well as being professional. They contribute to the process of upgrading the level of the products, allows them to compete with any products from other foreign brands. 
 
Futura is the main typeface of the brand. This typeface is both legible and readable, and it creates a clean and formal look for the brand.  As the typeface will be used for a Vietnamese brand, which target both Vietnamese customers and international customers, it was customized to create the 'extra' Vietnamese diacritical marks. This customized typeface can also be use flexibly with 9 different options: Book, Bold, Extra Bold, Heavy, Light Oblique, Oblique, Bold Oblique, Extra Bold Oblique, and Heavy Oblique.
The brand's unique patterns was inspired by the patterns on the cloth of Vietnam's ethnic groups (which called "Thổ Cẩm" in Vietnamese"). The original patterns are very colorful, but they were simplized to make them look more classy and professional.
In terms of packages, on each kind of wine, there will be an illustration of an important ingredient to make that wine. There will be 8 products, which are: Docynia Indica Wine ("Rượu Táo Mèo"), San Lung Wine ("Rượu Sán Lùng"), Bac Ha Corn Wine ("Rượu Ngô Bắc Hà"), Van Village Wine ("Rượu Làng Vân"), Kim Son Wine ("Rượu Kim Sơn"), Pip Banana Wine ("Rượu Chuối Hột"), Radix Marindae Wine ("Rượu Ba Kích"), Hoa Binh Tube Wine ("Rượu Cần Hòa Bình").
