I love upcycling vintage items into something new.  These vintage linen necklaces are great.  I've used a jewelry charm kit, but put the glass behind the fabric for stability, rather than on the top, so the raised embroidery work and the colors of the fabric are not enclosed.

 

I love the way they turnedout.  They are great for anyone who loves vintage as much as I do.
