Newborn Nursery Guide Book

We had to redesign this guide book, keeping in mind the information displayed.
I placed all the relevant information about each topic/sub-topic on their own separate page, without making it seem daunting or overwhelming to the reader. The size of the typeface and the space in the margins helps let the pages breathe. The fact that the information is separated on each page and/or spread, means the reader has direct access to what they're looking for, without having to flip through many pages (which can be a hindrance in a high-level stress environment such as a newborn nursery).

Colours are essential in my design. I used them to separate each chapter of the book. Each is easily accessible thanks to the cutout thumb tabs on the fore edge of the book. They also contribute to its aesthetic and soften the overall look, not giving it a dry, clinical feel.
