Corporate identity for the lobby-bar "Premier"

The arrangement and design of the hotel is a huge world of tasks of incredible complexity. 

The rating of such institutions takes into account many factors. A restaurant and a lobby bar are a must. At the same time, not only the convenience and functionality of these premises are important, but also a unique, recognizable design.

I was faced with an interesting but difficult task - the development of a corporate identity for the lobby - the Premier bar, located in the chic Novomoskovskaya hotel. The lobby bar is an integral part of the restaurant. It was necessary to emphasize a separate style, created specifically for the bar, but without contradicting the overall interior.


Task complexity

I love working on interesting, large-scale projects. This gives a huge scope for creativity. The difficulty, or rather the importance in this case, was that the lobby-bar is not a separate project. It is part of a large-scale building - a hotel with 5 stars. Every detail, every line, shade should correspond to the general idea, adapt to the concept of a luxury hotel, and at the same time have something special.

The lobby-bar is located almost at the entrance, it can be visited not only by hotel guests, but also by everyone. This is a visiting card for getting to know the hotel. The corporate identity should be conducive to relaxation in a comfortable environment, speak of involvement in high society and shout about the need to come here again and again.

It was necessary to perform several tasks at once:
brand analytics;
logo development;
corporate style development;
menu development;
photo production;
outdoor advertising.

Author's supervision is obligatory in my work. At all stages I participated directly. I personally checked every moment, corrected, changed, improved. As a result, guests of the hotel and restaurant were greeted by a truly luxurious, but at the same time comfortable lobby - the Premier bar.






To be done

Brand analytics includes a complete analysis of customer needs and definition of the main direction. The decision was made to emphasize the luxury and comfort offered. Design elements help with this issue.

Heraldry was thought out for the logo. A coat of arms has been developed, on which the name is located, as well as the letter "yat". The latter indicates the historical and cultural heritage of the building itself and the area where the hotel and the lobby bar are located. The coat of arms becomes a symbol of tribute to centuries-old traditions, aristocracy. The same coat of arms is successfully used for outdoor advertising. A skillfully forged image in the same style as the rest of the design looks massive, gives a high status “without further ado”.

The corporate style is visible in everything: stucco on the ceiling, massive decorative elements, exquisite furniture, dishes on the menu. The latter was given special attention, because despite the general interior, guests of the institution come here to taste culinary delights and enjoy a wide selection of drinks. The design of the menu itself also indicates the aristocracy of the lobby bar. The laconic style combined with the luxury of the count's estates is simply in the air.






Contrasting light, soft shades and noble dark ones were chosen as the main colors. This combination adds luxury to the room. Heavy curtains on the windows and sufficient lighting add some mystery. This is a separate world - a world of comfort and coziness. Getting into the lobby - bar, guests should be in a special, unique atmosphere. The bar counter is located in the middle, but at a certain distance from the tables and sofas. So, in each zone you can feel independent of other guests.






While working, I was constantly in the process personally. After all, everything is important: from the search for equipment, furniture, to the correct layout of lighting in various areas. Every detail of the interior is thought out to the smallest detail and everything is in its place.

This ambitious task has found an optimal solution. The lobby-bar "Premier" is visited daily by hundreds of guests (new and regular), which indicates the correct choice of corporate identity.
