The following images were taken about two years ago during the annual Fandango Fronterizo which takes place on the Mexico-U.S. border. During this event, communities from both sides of the border that enjoy the traditional folk music of Veracruz come together and play. The one small difference between this fandango and the countless of fandangos that occur every year in Veracruz and other communities is the giant and uninviting fence that divides the two nations.
