I created a mockup for a web catalog containing over 20,000 surgical instruments. The design focuses on two areas: featured products, which would flow through multiple products using html5 and css3 transforms and keyframe animation, and the product search.
The search area was designed to be as simple as a google-like keyword search, but also allow for advance search options. The user can select a specific category in which to search and/or select attributes to include, such as delivery region and product material, to narrow the results.
The listing page allows viewers to filter further with elements that are specific to the type of instrument they are viewing. From the listing page, the user can easily add and identify products that area already in his or her wishlist with font based star icons.
