Selling Location Efficiency

The intent of the brochure is to get people who are shopping for a new home to consider the location of their home as part of their monthly expenses. 
 
Asking people to think critically about an emotional decision like purchasing a home is delicate business. We're offering to help solve something they may not view as an issue, and we don't want to come across as biased or patronizing. 
 
 

If energy is invisible, then transportation energy is other-dimensional. 
 
We settled on use of an infographic to illustrate the idea of transportation costs adding up over time, and introduced fictional families to help humanize the difference in cost.

As one of very few print expressions of the VEIC brand, it was important to get the tone and messaging just right.
Working with a talented team including client, project manager, designer, and creative director, I think we did it.
