Dot, Line & Shape Composition

This particular college project focused on the three main principles of Visual Communication- Dot, Line & Shape. We were tasked with going out into Glasgow City Centre and taking a few photos of objects that showcase either one of Dot, Line & Shape. From those images we then had to use traditional marking methods such as monoprint to create nine experiments, using the photos as inspiration. Thirdly, we then scanned these into the computer and used Adobe Photoshop to crop and resize the images to 1280px by 720px, from there we then created a short composition using Adobe After Effects. Finally, Adobe Media Encoder was then used to render the composition and allowed us to save our compositions as a Medium bitrate mp4 file.
