Having started my Foundation Diploma in Design and Media at Ravensbourne Arts College, I was tasked with thinking of identity and, in particular, items that connect to my personal identity. An item that came to mind was my Ace Zippo which I have had for many years. I then drew a cartoonesque graphic of the item and through that came the inspiration to create this abstract 60s style graphic piece shown below.
