Forge & Fist is a fictional monthly publication and brand I created.
The magazine contains articles about knife making, collecting, care, history, and the artistry behind one of humanity's oldest tools.
My goal with this project was to create unique layouts that both accented the knife as a utilitarian object, and elevated it to the level of art.

My goal with this project was to create unique layouts that both accented the knife as a utilitarian object, and elevated it to the level of art.
While creating this publication I was encouraged to think about the possible longevity of the magazine and brand. I felt that the subject matter could be infinitely expanded upon, and took it upon myself to create an alternate cover with an abstracted forge graphic. This cover was created with cut paper.
