Alternate concept- low seat and carrying basket.
Clamping and painting the broken drawer.
The metal leg slides on, and in the measurements was purposely made slightly loose to allow it to be adjusted into both a table and a carrying basket. This leg design has the potential to be manufactured in certain standardized sizes, and would allow the buyer to slide them on to just about any material they could want within the size limit. This is a fun opportunity for people to customize their own space with a characteristic piece of wood they have, a funky sheet of metal, the possibilities are endless!

Improvements
For the next iteration of this design, a change I would like to make is to close the gap at the top of the wooden drawer/box where the metal bar sits out on the top edge. This would require a little more time forming of the rod. Also, the ability to adjust the support bar that holds the top in place would make it a tighter fit without loosing the ability to put on and remove the legs. In general, it would feel like a more complete design and be easier to use.
