Original concept sketches
The original concept was based off the Surrealist game of The Exquisite Corpse. Three initial drawings were created and submitted along with the propsal for the installation.
After we received approval for the installation (and a excited celebation) a list of heads, torsos and legs was compiled and then drawings (36 in total) were created in the square format. Since the overall theme was to evoke childhood imagination, the illustration style was kept very stylized and friendly.
After weeks of collaborative work with my coworker Estonia, the illustrations we finished and ready to be assembled into the totems.
