Every time I think of macro photography I either imagine insects or the detail of the human eye;
to incorporate this into a photo essay style I chose a very simple essay of the stages of makeup.

To make my photographs more interesting I chose to use a male models eye, I personally find it intriguing how feminine a male can appear just with the use of simple makeup techniques.
