The city is a jungle, a place where we are exposed to many elements: traffic, lights, noise, and people. In the city we become urban warriors where jewelry is not simply ornament. It becomes a charm, armor to protect us from any danger we may encounter.
The concept for the piece is inspired by the form and function of a shield and its evolution is a direct result of the urban context. The person who wears this piece is not only safeguarded from these dangers, but also carries a part of the city on his or her shoulders.
