Our client’s growth in self-financing their education and university recruitment facilities, led to a brief to design a new multi-functional space on their top floor.
The space was required to cover : the peak visitor use at weekends; week day collaborative staff meeting space needs; public seminars; teacher tutorial booths; evening study space; and exhibition/ design promotion forum. CIRCA’s solution to cover so many needs, was to develop a minimal room design with a series of lightweight flexible elements; that could be re-arranged to offer 4 flexible areas able to be independent or used together. Given the client’s European art and design promotion role, the furniture was selected from Magis, Wilkahn, and Vitra.
