This was my first project as an intern at ECHO, a creative studio space in Syracuse, NY.  An ongoing project they have is their line of upcycled housewares from found and donated materials from the local communities and businesses. I designed these candleholders to use reclaimed porch wood for their top with holes drilled on alternating and sometimes assymetrical sides. The use of multiple materials and asymmetrically drilled holes keep with the existing aethetics of their furniture, planters, etc.
