Hip Hop and Lyrical Hip Hop have been dance styles that have allowed me to express myself and have a mind-body connection unlike anything else. I started taking hip hop dance classes when I was 14, and it has been an integral part of my life and identity ever since. Although I took a hiatus from dance in college, I got back into it as soon as I possibly could.
When I'm dancing, I feel confident, strong, alive and invincible. It is a huge passion in my life.
