Visual Self-Autonomy Vol 1 & 2

Οπτική Εαυτονομία
Installation / Visual art / Photography / Interaction
Interactive installation commenting on the concept of freedom of view. The project was developed to take part in a group graphic design exhibition with the title "Free: taking place in Thessaloniki to celebrate  the 100th year anniversary of the city's liberation.
The installation was donated to the Macedonian Museum of Modern Art in Thessaloniki where it was exhibited and used for educational programmas untill May 2015.

Our main goal was to communicate the idea that the greatest freedom is letting people keep their on view of things. Being free is being able to experience reality through your own perception and not be forced to accept other people’s views and opinions. This goes both ways meaning that being free is being able to respect other people’s views.

This project was re-en-acted to take part in RE:ACT  Voll II art inter(e)actions  in 17-18.05.2013
