A type specimen that showcases the fonts 'warp & weft' whilst exploring the art of Silk production. The book demonstrates how the typefaces work well together and shows examples of various styles and point sizes. The aim of the project was to name and create a visual identity and logotype for Tyra Bank's new boutique digital type foundry. I decided to keep my designs simple and mostly typographic. The Story of Silk concept was inspired by Tyra Bank's and her career in fashion, exploring Silk allowed me to look into the beauty and art of the industry whilst being able to design the specimen around the idea of luxury and beauty.
