Osaka AJET is a long standing volunteer-run organization which specializes in planning amazing parties, cultural events, and networking opportunities for its members of the JET program in Osaka, Japan.

 

The idea was to combine the already established logo with the spirit of the organization: approachable, fun, professional. The use of lots of white space paired with simple text conveys the feeling of openness. The logo itself shows the lighter side to the organization while the clean layout of the card represents its professionalism. The typeface used throughout is Aharoni Bold, a thick but modern typface. The lines are about the same thickness as the ones used in the logo text, unifying the card. 

 

The color palette of only black, white and teal allows the logo to keep the focus. This brings instant recognizability to the card, even if it’s stuffed into a tight wallet pocket. The elements of the logo repeated on the back brings the entire design together yet continues to bring recognizability to the card and the organization as a whole.
