This is a Fall/Winter portfolio project I did for school.  It is inspired by the paintings of Edouard Cortes.  He was a painter starting around the turn of the century until he died.  He was very expressive when it came to any sort of weather or seasonal paintings.  I decided to experiment with turning the popular turn of the century mutton sleeve, and make it more modern.  Illustrations done by hand using markers and artist chalk on watercolor paper.  Knit design using Sheima Seiki.  Photo and fabric editing done using Photoshop.  Flats done on Illustrator.
