“TWIG” furniture series took the shape of trees by following their natural direction of growth. They maintained the charm of traditional Ming Dynasty furniture, and kept Ming furniture’s artistic conception and simple lines. This series looks for the changes between square and
circle, straight and twist, giving them the modern style lines as well as showing the master techniques. At the same time of pursuing beauty and artistic conception, the designer did some research on ergonomics, trying to make the users feel the intimate comfort. Each turn of radian was made after deep consideration, no missing a single detail that can bring the users pleasure experience. The whole series includes twig chair, table, easel and sidetable. Using the way of open painting on black
walnuts, this kind of “undecorated” painting makes them closer to the users. As time goes by, the “Bao Jiang” (Oxygen horizon) users left on them will make the furniture milder, smoother, and lasts longer.
