Glasvasen is developed by Jernhusen, the Swedish real estate company who develop, own and manage all the station areas. Being neighbour to the central station Glasvasen will become the most central office building in Malmö.

‘The idea behind Glasvasen lies primarily in its shape and what it does for the site. One can see the house as an organic sculptural furniture in the public space, a free and colorful player with a character of its own. In contrast to the muted tones and straight lines of the surrounding buildings, this house is light, dynamic and vibrant,’ says Daniel Hohenthal, Kanozi Architects.
Glasvasen is the first project in the future devlopment of Södra nyhamnen, a project that will span across 500.000 sqm. Glasvasen and future housing will transform an unused area in Malmö to a new vivid block filled with travelers, office workers and people living in the area.
