Light direction vectors baked into atlas texture.
Material node setup in Blender that outputs the light direction vectors encoded into rgb range as seen above.
Light probes scatterted through the scene represented by spheres. The light probe data was rendered out using a Python script in blender that 'sampled' each sphere's surface from 6 directions and wrote all the data into a JSON file using a tree structure. The data was later referenced by moving objects in the scene, resulting in a nice dynamic lighting of those objects.
