Entravision Communications
An Office for Art
Almost ten years had passed since this Spanish speaking television and communications company had their offices designed and it’s appearance was no longer suited their identity nor their clientele.

The approach for reconciling this problem was to tackle the space through 2 major avenues: Color and Art. The company already had a stunning collection of Latino Art displayed throughout the offices which seemed somewhat lost within the bland environs. This was addressed by providing strong anchoring color on the walls in the form of paint and fabric to enhance some of the most enticing pieces.

A large, boldly colored “area rug” of inset carpet tile was added to provide emphasis to the major public gathering spaces, such as the conference room and reception. The intent was to help define function and motion through flooring as well as tie into the color scheme used at the focal points of the walls.
An eclectic mix of furnishings were used to enliven the space and add interest at the reception lobby, CEO office and for an outdoor patio which was to serve as the executive conference room.
