Created using a Bridgeport Milling Machine:
This series of sculptures is my exploration of the possibilities afforded with a classic, hand-controlled, 3-axis steel mill. There are displayed in chronological order, and altogether account for 30 hours of machining. The first wood form was the only unplanned experiment, while the final two aluminum sculptures were both initially developed in solidworks before being machined. All pieces are left unfinished in order to display the care taken in machining them.
