This necklace draws inspiration from Nolan Hendrickson's 2012 painting Sportswear 1. It incorporates colors and forms found in the painting, which are articulated in enamel on bronze. 

 

The pendant was digitally modeled in ArtCam, then milled out of a castable wax and cast in bronze using the lost wax technique. Finally, colored enamel powders were selectively applied to emulate Hendrickson's unique color palate and the brass hardware was added.
