Rustic Dinnerware Collection
Hand-thrown plates, bowls, and mugs, made from a rich chocolate brown clay made in Oregon. Each design is individually painted in resist, then glazed with a brush to produce a muted, varied look. This technique allows each piece to stand on it's own, delivering its own character and charm, unlike stenciled or printed ware that you find in commercial factories. Even when you order a "matching set," each piece will be unique, just like each person at your dinner table. I work completely on my own, from start to finish, delicately caring for each piece until it leaves my hands and gets packaged off and sent out into the world.
