Creating a personal typeface along with a type specimen to support it.
My typeface was inspired by Brian Eno's Axis Theory.
My idea behind the typeface is - how getting from one place to another isn't the important part of a walk , but the whole journey/ process of exploring is. This idea was similar to a piece I read about axis theory which said there aren't just two points to describe something (either black or white) but there lies an entire continuum of possibilities ( grey scale) in between.
These two learnings helped me device a process of working , where in I started drawing my alphabets, from one point and ended without lifting my pen, thereby concentrating on the curves (journey) and form in between.

Type Specimen is a Piece that accurately visually represents the characteristics of a typeface.
Instead of merely showing the characterset of my typeface, I chose to write a phrase in the 'font' that represented it in the most perfect sense.
'Its not about the Destination, its about the Journey"
