The Dwell Magazine challenge was to create a page layout that carried the look and feel of Dwell. These pages consisted of a Table of Contents and a Departments page. The required elements were maintaining the current brand standards while creating two pieces, when given and inserted into the magazine, which flowed with the rest of the piece. Using the same grid as Dwell I gathered the imagery and wrote the content for each page. Dwell’s magazine is cleanly laid out and organized, which inspired me to design the pages with ample white space. The pages kept the consistency of the movable gutter to alter the page ever so slightly.
