This was a card I designed when a dear friend's wife passed away. I wanted to create a card that reflected the emotions and depth of the feelings of loss with their passing. I have always felt an affinity with all things Celtic and feel a spirituality infused in the art and images. I chose the donkey's eye as the main image for the feeling reflected in her expression. Donkeys have a soul about them that goes deeper than the image they are percieved to be which is stubborn and unwilling. I wanted to portray that within this card as well.
