Hot Spot Skate Park
A new skate park was developed in Spartanburg by way of joint ventures sponsored by area businesses and developers. The City of Spartanburg Parks & Recreation Division maintains the property. The marketing campaign consisted of creating a look using the already established logo. My team and I developed a graffitti theme that highlighted the culture of skateboarding and developed into the physical area of the park. Graffitti is not allowed on the structures in the park but a wall was erected that encouraged creativity among area graffitti artists.
