Logo and merchandise design
My girlfriend Maia had recently started learning graphic design under my tutelage and, in an effort to begin building a portfolio, offered her services via a subreddit dedicated to sludge and stoner metal music. One of the bands that responded (Doperider) had a great idea to incorporate motifs from vintage horror movie posters and psychadelic films to create a macabre scene for a shirt design. They also required a logo be designed, which was almost entirely left up to us. Using negative space, the logo looks like psychadelic smoke lazily wafting through the air.
