Yuki-onna are part of Japanese legends.  They are ghostly apparitions that appears in winter nights and freeze the unsuspecting travelers. Legends vary, but they are often described as very beautiful, a way to lure their future victims closer to them. This is a modern take on the legend. 

Conception notes:
1- Japanese ghosts do not have legs or feets.
2- Kimonos are worn right side over left side... for dead people
3- The obidome (jewel in the middle of the obi (belt) represent the sun shining on a frozen, untamed sea. The obijime ( cord in the middle of the obi) is tied in a  modern fashion.
