Living in Providence RI gets too difficult sometimes, especially during winter. Spending winter in Providence can be summarized with never-ending snow storm, gloomy sky, bone-freezing cold, and being stuck at home. Past winter (2014-2015) I experienced depression and chaos that is most likely affected by the weather condition. I spent most of my time staring at a window at Charles Landing, my living space in USA.
Staring and sketching the same window view over months helped me revisit my own process of making an image. It helped me to read things slow. This is when I truly started merging the idea of painting and collaging. My construction of collaging and/or painting aren't that different.
