Stringing Relationships; Cities and Desire
Editorial brief by LASALLE College of the Arts, BA(Hons) Design Communication
Based on the ‘Invisible Cities’ chapter chosen and the responses from the previous project, you should be in a position to begin contextualising all information. Taking the text and images, create 8 different double page editorial spreads. In your compositions, you are free to interpret each page spread as you wish with interesting and sophisticated composition, exploring of text / type nuances and imageries in your layouts.
Also note that book jacket/cover is the crown for any publication. It must communicate to attract the contents in it. Find a suitable title for your publication and a caption to describe it. You may apply any method learned in production classes deemed best.
