I really enjoy photography, specifically portraits and couples sessions. I like to set up pictures in unconventional places. For couples sessions, I enjoy creating the illusion that the couple is alone in a far off place away from the hustle of everyday life. In reality, all four of these shots were taken within fifty feet of a street with passing cars. For me, the actual photographs are only part of the art though. The other half is produced via design on the computer. The photograph preserves the memory. And the inital shot has to be technically good and paired with a preconceived vision. But the color design, textures and manipulated lighting produce the art that embellishes the memory.
