‘My Journeys By Rail’, is a sustained project demonstrating conceptual thinking, which takes the form of a piece of editorial design.The book is a documentary of personal rail journeys that take place between Northampton and Canterbury and focus on aspects such as the stations, routes, train operating companies and the other people also travelling on the trains.Typography, colour pallet and imagery all take inspiration from train travel and the train liveries of London Midland, Southern and Southeastern trains.Elements of train travel that have been included in the design of the book are train tickets, route maps and newspaper cuttings from the Metro and The Evening Standard.
