M.I.L.K (Medical Interactive Learning Kit) for joints is a portable learning kit designed for medical students conceptual understanding of the fundamental principles of different joint movements and mechanism. With the guidance of the instructional cards, the two key 'living' and 'manual' phases together help to build the mental model of students for future clinical practices.

The design is focused on the study of the human wrist joint
Set of instructional cards that complements with the learning kit to assist in the learning process
Instructional cards as a guidance in the assembly of the different components in the study kit
Instructional cards providing a learning guide through references to different clinical scenarios to understand the fundamental concepts of joint movements
ADJUSTABLE AIR FLOW CONTROL VALVE:
Provide students with the flexibility to adjust the amount of air flow to the air muscles as well as the choice of muscles to be inflated
MOVEMENT OF BONES:
Different joint movements produced via different permutations of air muscles combinations
INSTRUCTIONAL CARDS:
Informational reference for guided learning and explorations of the individual components of the study kit
AIR MUSCLES:
Inflation and shortening of air muscles to mimic the biomechanism of muscles in bringing about joint movements
ADAPTABLE COMPONENTS:
Versatility in transforming either to a uniaxial (hinge joint) or multiaxial joint (ball and socket joint) by either the addition or removal of the adaptable components
DISASSEMBLE:
Individual components are disassembled after usage
STORAGE:
The disassembled components could be kept and stored within the box
PORTABILITY:
With the stored components kept within, the study kit is now ready-to-go as a study guide anytime, anywhere
