The Dragonboat Facility: EFFLUENCE
EFFLUENCE is a dragonboat facility located on a small island called Barbadoes located in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This project was designed for a local dragonboat organization that needed a new headquarters for both athletic training and community based events. One of the leading design concepts behind this project was to create a space that merged community, nature and function. In essence, these programs would flow together through architectural implications and create an open space where singular functions are defined by those who use the space.
