'A Peaceful Karachi is Possible' Campaign

The Children's Museum for Peace & Human Rights (CMPHR) is a not-for-profit organization that strives to develop a socially just and stable society in Pakistan where children and young people grow up as aware, active and participating citizens. It recently collaborated with I AM KARACHI which is a city-wide movement that inculcates hope, pride & ownership in the citizens of Karachi to collectively strive for a peaceful, vibrant city to start a project  “A Peaceful Karachi is Possible” to create a cohesion in the society through educational reforms with a vision to supplement the government effort to create a more tolerant society.

The activity is Karachi based and targeted for the lower and upper secondary level students as their understanding of the needs of their communities is far more higher than the primary level students. Secondly the teaching and learning impact is immediate and they will be involved in making the difference through solicitation with families, peers and members of their communities.
