Illuminating the Ocean Deep
Over this 5 week course, the class visited the New Bedford Whaling Museum along with several archives to research the history of American whaling culture, nautical life, and colonial politics. Using this accumulated information, a project was to be made that honed in or emulated the essence of what we had learned.
