With this project, I used three different filters to develop 'form concepts' for nightlamps. My final deliverable was the set of three nightlamps seen below.
The filters I used were Biological, Literal, and Cultural.

This nightlamp is inspired by crystalline structures.
Materials: Acrylic

Literal
I created this lamp based on how the circuit of the lamp works.
It does not require any adhesives, and can therefore be considered to be DIY.
Materials: Acrylic, Masonite
Dimensions: 9" x 5" x 2.75"

Cultural
This lamp is inspired by the act of praying with one's hands brought together.
Materials: Plywood, Gold Paint
Dimensions: 3" x 5" x 10"
