COSTUME STYLISATION INSPIRED BY
PACO RABANNE

The project is a part of my college assignment where we had to select a designer and study his style to know his ideology behind fashion and styling, then taking inspiration from that designer and jotting down the key elements of his style, stylise a complete white shirt by incorporating those key elements

The stylized elements used must represent the designer’s ideology and the stylised shirt must be wearable

Paco Rabanne is a Spanish Fashion Designer and the 1st designer to successfully use unconventional materials like metal and plastic to make clothing. His 1st collection appeared in 1966 and was called
“12 dresses from the material that can not be worn”. And it was a kind of revolution in fashion world.
He was the 1st designer to use black models in his fashion shows

Garment Construction

The complete look is inspired from Paco Rabanne signature style.
The elements incorporated in styling of the shirt are geometrical pattern, repetition of patches, metallic chips, sharp and bold shapes, use of unconventional materials, which were the key elements of Paco Rabanne styling
