Personal Logo Project

In this project we had to make a logo that showed who we are. "In this project, we had to look at sample logos and discuss the different parts to the logo. We then planned, created, and built a logo for use in other projects. We also learned about how to format certain files, resolution and image size.
My final logo was based around one thing mainly ,which is a band named Twenty One Pilots.  I took there logo and tried to include it somehow with my initials.  My logo started off with no curve but as I added the curves I liked the cartoon look to them.  Also in my original I did not have the circle in the back with the fading black to it but when I added it, it looked like the main symbol popped more and the color scheme stuck out more.  The reasoning for the color schemes I chose was so that it resembled the bands symbol I like.  Also the A used to just be leaning on the blue line and was not complete but when I made everything a bubble shaped I decided to complete the shape with no fill so it stuck out more but didn’t cause the main part of the symbol to look odd.
For my logo I mainly used pen because the shapes I had drawn weren’t really normal rectangles they all got bigger at one end or had something weird about it that made using shape builder more time consuming to fix it once made.  Also the reason behind the black was so the S popped more since it is my last initial and usually the last initial pops more than the others.  I did try and use some transparency stuff on parts of the logo but then it became to much to look at with all the different colors and stuff. My letters for my initials pop except J for that one there are two spots to find it for both of them you have to turn the paper or your head and look at it sideways.  The J was the hardest letter to fit into the logo that is why it is so hidden.

This was my original idea for my logo it.  It was a very straight edged image with no curve to it at all.  When i first started my logo i was trying to stay as close to the bands image as symbol as possible.  So this was just a start to what i ended with.
